We thank all our members who supported our General Assembly by attending, and Hazar Şahin of TIR-TAŞ Uluslararası Nakliyat ve Tic. Ltd. Şti., who gave a short assessment.

Hazar Şahin, Chairman of the Board and third-generation representative of Tırtaş Uluslararası Nakliye, which has left 45 years in the logistics sector behind it, told Kamyonum about the company’s European operations and investment plans.
Şahin said that since its founding Tırtaş has made international road transport its main field of activity, and that establishing a permanent operational structure on European lines, strengthening its own fleet, moving into intermodal transport and building an operational network based in Europe have been important milestones for the company. He emphasised that with their office and warehouse set-up in Trieste they offer customers a more sustainable and integrated operation.
With a high operational volume in Western and Central Europe, above all in Italy, Austria, Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium, Tırtaş launched new intra-European routes with intermodal connections as of 2025. The share of Euro 6 vehicles in the fleet was increased, and investments in swap body and container-compatible equipment were accelerated.
“Swap body and container systems reduce delays at border crossings, balance costs and lower environmental impact. Thanks to these systems we gain flexibility and make effective use of rail integration in Europe.”
Şahin announced that over the next five years they aim to increase intermodal capacity, strengthen the intra-European operational network, make the fleet greener, deepen digital processes and accelerate investments in trailers and swap boxes.

Constantly strengthening itself, above all through its investments in the logistics sector and its wide service network, Tırtaş made a name for itself with the capacity it added to its service network through investments made in 2016–2017 in international transport and in concrete and cement plants.
Having strengthened its position in the logistics sector since 1980 with diverse transport solutions and environmentally friendly business models, Tırtaş transports to Europe and continues to provide uninterrupted service on the principle of mutual trust and successful cooperation with all its business partners.

Founded in Ankara in 1980, our company told Kamyonum Magazine about the journey it began in the sector as an international transport company.
Growing steadily over time, Tırtaş has carried the trust and quality service it built in the sector into cement, sand and ready-mixed concrete transport, establishing a versatile operational structure.

Tırtaş, which started its activities as a family business in Ankara in 1980, initially worked in international transport; it then moved into cement, sand and ready-mixed concrete transport and established a ready-mixed concrete plant in Yenibosna.
Chairman of the Board Gökhan Şahin stated that the Yenibosna plant was operated by the company between 1997 and 2005, after which they entered into a partnership with Akçansa.
